Jake Moss
I have been in and around gardens the vast majority of my life. My love of plants, nature, organic gardening and aptitude for artistic design is what lead me along this path. I am interested in creating harmonious outdoor living spaces that embody a sense of sanctuary, symbiosis and abundance while adhering to the values of functional aesthetic and resource consciousness. While working with my clients, I channel these principles and listen to what their needs are with special care not to over design or underwhelm. Weather you are looking to design a simple and contemporary ornamental landscape, a native wildlife habitat, or a homestead food forest, I aim to treat your project with the utmost respect and attunement.
DYNAMIC ECOLOGICAL DESIGN
Located in the bio-region of coastal San Diego, Regenerate Landscape is aware of the importance our watersheds serve to marine ecosystems. Standardized landscaping practices using petrol-chemical fertilizers compromise our groundwater and ultimately flow into our ocean. We adhere to the watershed principle, designing alternative landscapes that are vibrant with color and diversity while using up to 50% less water and require no harmful fertilizers, pesticides or herbicides. Blending principles of Feng Shui with age-old values of Organic Horticulture and modern design, Regenerate creates landscapes that are regarded as beacons of beauty and sustainability within their communities. The beauty in the future of landscaping will be derived from its resource consciousness, productivity and sustainability.
Let the process of restoring the earth and healing ourselves begin in our own yard -Jake
SHIFTING THE PARADIGM, PROTECTING OUR ENVIRONMENT
Working together with Cure Soil Consulting, The Good Shepherds and D.B Landscape Co. we have created a thriving platform for California residence to realize the potential of their land while conserving resources, protecting from wildfires, preserving wildlife and native plant species. Our collective purpose and holistic approach is diverse, functional, and above all, rich in color, texture and movement.
